Core Pins For Progressive Die Ejector
Ejector pins are the bouncers of the injection moulding world. They
apply a force to eject a part from the mold, and in some cases can
leave marks. Once the mold is opened, the pins extend into the mold
cavity, push the part out, and then retract, allowing the mold to
close and be refilled.
They are also known as Nitride H13 pins, are much harder pins than
the through hard pins, and are suitable for die casting ejection
system in mold. Case hardened pins are nitrated to 65-70HRC and can
withstand temperatures above 200°C.
